There has been much jubilation at the Court of Appeal’s decision on Heathrow. Sadly (I think a third runway is a terrible idea) that jubilation will be short lived as it ultimately is about the government (Chris Grayling - again) failing to take account of the Paris Accord. On noise and pollution the protestors lost the case.

Wouldn’t it be sensible now to revisit the ‘Heathwick’ idea of a high speed rail link between Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton running round the M25? And a second runway at Gatwick?
