What is it about plumbing that is consistently so bad? Why does anyone think that it is sensible or desirable to have shower, bath or sink taps that don’t tell you which way is hot and cold? Or which lever does power and which temperature? And why do some taps turn off in different directions? And most egregiously why does a bath ever overflow? Surely any overflow pipe should be up to dealing with the inflow. Duh!
